Could a moderator please check on my iconpackage called "Metall"?

I updated the links for the WB, iconpackage and dock icons but the icon pack was the only one that went into moderation.

I thought they all would. But sadly no.

I haven't done an icon pack since Cabin Fever, back in 2008, and it was the only one that went into moderation.

On windows 7, when you click on the explorer icon in the taskbar (the yellow folder icon), a new window will open that looks like this.

It changed the text from green to purple. It only does it after I change the colors in skin studio. Haven't even touched the windows 7/8 part colors yet.  I've open all the files in the folder and tried to hunt the color down, to ne success.

It's never happened before. I've checked all my old skins and the text is green like it's suppose to be. Even other skinners blinds have the green text.

Question: do you know what's happening or how to change it back.

I just noticed, there isn't a delete button any where, that I can find.

Hey everyone,

As you know, I've been gone for about a year. I've done a few updates but I haven't been away sitting on my hands. :)

First we have Aeon. It's been done for almost a month, but I didn't create a thread, so I thought I'd add it to this one.
It's a "cool" skin that's easy one the eyes and has a nice color, also. Made for Windows 7, Vista and XP. Don't pass this up.

Almost finished with this. It's called "Alloy" and should be available by the end of the week.

This next one is close to my heart. I've always wanted to do a dark tan and red skin, so I bring you "Continuum".
I've only done the XP version, so far, and hopefully will have an iconpack to go with it. See the preview. I'm looking at the end of May for this one.

And lastly, once these are complete, I'll be starting on a "fan based skin" called "Legacy". You guessed it. It's be based on the upcoming Tron Legacy movie, from Disney. I won't be holding anything back, on this skin. As of now, it'll be based of the "throwing disks" used in the movie.

So expect to see a cool animated start menu. LOL ;)

I bought MP years ago. So long ago, I don't even know the old address I bought it from.

There was an update, so I tried and it kept asking if I'd like to register it. I thought it was registered? Been using it for years.

Anyways, you had that 1/2 price special, so I said "What the heck, I'll buy it again, with my new email address".

No such luck. Installed on both machines and I can only "text" share now, even thought image sharing is marked.

Even though it's the Pro version, It won't let me check the "File sharing" box. Says Pro Only. I thought that's what I bought?

When I right click it, it's saying that it's not installed correctly. Uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times.

Same results each time. Reactivated x 12. Reentered my registration x 12.

Primary - Vista home premium 32bit

Secondary - XP Home 32bit.

Not happy.

Forgot to mention, if it's not installed correctly, why can I text share? Also, I still can't update. Keeps asking to register. I did x 12.

There is a 3 pixel line above the cammand bar.

I'm wondering if this is happening to other people or just me.

I've looked through a lot of skins on the site and it doesn't seem to happen. Just on mine.

This is happening on Vista Home premium and Windows 7 Premium.

Happens with Windowblinds loaded. Not loaded, just Vista or Win7 and no skin at all.

Any ideas why this happens?

I don't know if any one remembers a post, I did, several years back. It was about people asking for permission and sadly turning them down.

Today, we know, just don't respond, but back then I thought it was a good idea to explain why, I was turning them down, so they could fix a few things or just not upload.

Anyways, a similar thing happen yesterday. Someone asked if they could make a theme of one of my skins? (Should also mention, that they have asked before, without any problems).

I told them, they didn't have to ask. They are free to make anything for themselves, if they choose to do so. They just had to ask if they wanted to upload (share) it with everyone.

If they did decide to make one, then just send it to me. I'll look over it and then let them know if they can upload it (give my permission). This is how I've always done it.

Well, for some reason, that was very arrogant of me to even suggest that I look at it. I should just blindly give my permission, without seeing the finished work.

I don't know. You tell me? Do we blindly give permissions now, or do we still own the skins and would like to see the finished work.

As you've read, you know my answer. What's your take on this?
